New features must be added due to YouTube's changes. - "Always on Progress bar" problem (the dot still shows after the cursor is moved away). - Fix the videos, posts, and shorts row and column (or customize the row and column choice because YouTube has gotten worse). For the time being, I believe that these two are the most crucial. The last update was in December 2024, which was 5 months ago. Are you still alive, Developer?

I used to love the 'Improve YouTube!' ? extension — been a loyal user for many years straight. But lately, it’s been super buggy and kinda broke the whole vibe. Now, whenever I go to the “Videos” tab on any channel, the page just freezes, loads forever, and tanks my entire browser’s performance. The only way out is a full reload — major pain. Another annoying thing: when I resize the browser while watching a video, the video keeps playing, but everything else breaks. I can’t click anything. Whole page just glitches out. And sometimes, my settings don’t even load properly. The extension feels half-broken at this point. On top of that, it automatically pauses every video when I first click play, and also makes YouTube take longer to load in general after turning it on. I even tried enabling features one by one to troubleshoot, starting with the essential ones — still no fix. It sucks, but I had to disable it for now. I really miss using it. Please fix these issues or add an option to prevent all these bugs without slowing down the browser or the site.

why doesn't the reverse playlist reverse videos?

Really like the extension but when switching to dark theme the titles of the YT videos are in black and I cannot read them. Missing an option to change the font colours!!

I've been using the extension for a long time and had it's problems along the way and got fixed after a while and added some more features I never knew I needed. Recently I noticed that the last update was from December of 2024 and this got me concerned because I have been experiencing some issues with the extension way before that time. I noticed that there are times when the extension fails to function at first page load or reload missing my setting of having the player on theater (wide) mode straight away, or being able to use my shortcut of displaying stats without the usual right-click on video to select. And recently (some time probably after a few youtube updates introducing the new progress bar color gradient), the 'always show progress bar' feature (I use it to gauge my watch time without having to move the mouse and often times some videos doesn't even have a ending phase and goes straight to cut video); It has been failing to keep up with the played part of the video and taking roughly 2 seconds or moving the mouse to update scroll dot positioning. I tried another extension to see if can't be fixed and that extension worked and I can even change the positioning update speed. Another issue is the custom mini player; I can't drag or resize it. It's just a tiny box that is not even centered or edged at the top left part of the screen when scrolling down. I like how I used to read comments and still see from 'the prefered size' of the mini player properly; I still can but from like a large desktop icon size, on a 14" monitor... Hopefully those issues can be addressed soon because this has been my go to extension for customizing yt to almost be perfectly as I want it to be. Along with improve youtube, I have uboL & privacy badger running which I believe shouldn't cause problems with each other (and never have) but I'll mention it just in-case. Thanks!

Honestly this addon is AMAZING! I really hate how i can never find anything on youtube because the search results are always bloated with unrelated videos and stupidly addicting shorts. BUT NOW ITS GONE. I have problems with my attention span so it was always so frustrating to get sidetracked while im researching. If ur reading this developer/devs, just know that your hard work has paid off and made my life better. Thank you!

Your Ext keeps ruining YT. First some videos are off center, then thumnails are flickering on mouseover. And I don't know how to fix the latter! Fix this already!

Installed with the promise of once again being able to pause/play YouTube with the spacebar. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. It can play from a paused status, but trying to use the spacebar again after that will just pause and then immediately unpause it, even if you started without focus on the player. Also, you can't /delete/ or set to blank any of the myriad shortcuts that are already set by default, which is ridiculous.

I love this extension! The personalizations are superb! I used it with Chrome till the attacks by Google and YouTube, then moved to Opera; I should have stopped using Chrome a long time ago. I adore this addon so much!

I love this, but I have a problem where the rotate functionality doesn't always load within the video. I have to go into the extension and turn it on and off again for it to appear :(

This is awesome! Only thing that I think could improve it is an option to force the color of the buttons separately to the background color, or at least have the text of the buttons change to match the text color. I set a custom dark background, and now the buttons are pretty hard to read.

The Videos are taking too long to play and shorts do not work anymore :\ They do not play automatically anymore. You have to watch one short fully with a frozen image and then you can watch this short but just this one. Then the second one the same process again :( Please fix this as fast as you can :( I love "improved youtube" but i also love to watch shorts like always, automatically fine.
